All pins are hand-made in Kunshan, China. Almost every step of the pin manufacturing process is handled by a person, not a machine. So understand that a "flawless" pin is nearly impossible to acquire.
TIPS
To ensure that your pins last forever, keep them in a dry environment and handle them minimally. Wash your hands before and after handling, and do not get lotions or perfumes on them. Direct sunlight can cause discoloration and possible other damage, so be sure they are out of sunlight.
